Day 1: ARRIVAL DELHI
Arrive Delhi, meet and greet by Mondial Escapes Representative at the Terminal 3 Delhi airport & transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at Delhi.
Day 2: DELHI – LUCKNOW (Train 0615 hrs / 1230 hrs) – SRAVASTI (166 kms / 3 hours)
Morning transfer to the railway station to board train to Lucknow. Arrive Lucknow at 1230 hrs and drive to Sravasti where Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons in Jetvana Gardens. Attraction at Sravasti is the Ananda Bodhi Tree believed to be the one planted by Anand, the main disciple of Buddha.

Day 3: SRAVASTI – LUMBINI (260 Km / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast short tour of Sravasti which includes a visit to Maheth - covering an area of about 400 acres. Excavations have exposed the massive gates of the city, ramparts and also the ruins of other structures, which stand testimony to the prosperity of ancient Sravasti. The Sobhanath Temple is located here. Pakki Kuti and Kacchi Kuti were probably Buddhist shrines, before they were converted into Brahmanical temples. Later continue to Lumbini 27 km beyond Indo – Nepal Border. Arrive and check in to the Hotel.

Day 4: LUMBINI - KUSHINAGAR (170 Km / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, half sightseeing tour of Lumbini visiting The Sacred Garden - spread at an area of over 8 sqkm it possesses all the treasures of the historic area. There are many temples, Monasteries & Stupas built by various countries. Ashoka pillar carrying an inscription identifying the holy site as the birthplace is situated nearby the Sacred Garden. Mayadevi Temple houses a bas-relief depicting the nativity. Recent excavations have turned up a stone bearing a "foot imprint", indicating the exact place of birth. Puskarni pond is where Queen Mayadevi, the Buddha's mother, had taken a bath before giving birth to Buddha. Later a drive to Kushinagar. Arrive and check into the hotel.

Day 5: KUSHINAGAR – Vaishali- PATNA (250 Km / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast short sightseeing tour of Kushinagar, visiting - Mahaparinirvana Temple - This houses the over 6 meters long statue of reclining Buddha excavated in 1876. It represents the dying Buddha reclining on his right side. Ramabhar - This large stupa rises to a height of 49 ft. It marks the site where the Lord Buddha was cremated. Mathakuar Temple - this shrine lies about 400 yards from the Parinirvana stupa. The last sermon by Lord Buddha was given here.
Later drive to Patna en route visit Vaishali where Buddha delivered his last sermon and announced his impending ‘nirvana’. Later continue your drive to Patna. Arrive and check into the hotel.

Day 6: PATNA-NALANDA-RAJGIR- BODHGAYA (200 Km / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya en route visiting Nalanda and Rajgir.
Nalanda is the ancient seat of learning, the ruins of the University reveal that it was the first International University of the world, where over 2,000 teachers and 1,000 students from all over the Buddhist world lived and studied. The excavated ruins are spectacular, with chapels, monasteries and lecture halls symmetrically spread over a large area.
Rajgir – It is another important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists and as well as Jains. Ancient Rajgirha, literally the abode of Kings, was the first capital of Magadha. Vulture Peak, Griddhakuta, Ajatsatru Fort are the important places to visit in Rajgir. Later drive to Bodhgaya. Arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight at Bodhgaya
Day 7: BODHGAYA
After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya visiting The Mahabodhi Temple Complex. Seven spots within the complex precincts are especially sacred because it was at these spots that the Buddha spent a week each, meditating, after his Enlightenment. The Bodhi tree - Buddha attained enlightenment under this tree and spent the first week after his enlightenment under this tree. Afternoon free.

Day 8: BODHGAYA – VARANASI (220 Km / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast depart for Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and check in at the hotel, Later excursion to Sarnath visit Dhamek Stupa, Where Buddhas relics are buried inside the massive cylindrical like construction. Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment in Bodhgaya; today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst places on the Buddhist trails. Also visit the museum close to the ruins, a beautiful collection of Hindu & Buddhist statues found during the excavation. One of the masterpieces of 3rd century B.C. is a Lion capital, which is now the national emblem of India.

Day 9: VARANASI – DELHI (FLIGHT)
Early morning enjoy the boat ride on the holy river Ganges followed by a brisk walk in the winding narrow lanes of Old Varanasi. Later visit the Bharat Mata Temple, which has a big relief map of India in marble, the Benares Hindu University. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later transferred to the airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival you shall be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 10: DELHI
After breakfast, combined full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Start your visit with Old Delhi, founded in 17th century by the 5thgreat Moghul Emperor Shahjahan. Visit the famous Jama Masjid (Friday mosque). Later take a brisk walk in the winding lanes of Old Delhi to get the real taste of India. Visit the Mahatama Gandhi Memorial and take a panoramic tour of India gate & President House Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest 12th century minaret situated in the South of Delhi. Before sunset visit a Sikh Temple, known as Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. A place where you see the fervor of Sikh community.

Day 11: DELHI / TERMINAL 3 AIRPORT
Transfer from hotel to Delhi International airport to board flight back home with Sweet Memories about India.
End of the tour
