Day 1: Arrive Bangalore

Arrival at Bangalore airport. You shall be welcomed by Mondial ESCAPES representative and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Bangalore-Kochi (Flight)

After breakfast take a quick tour of the fast growing IT City, Bangalore (Bangalore Palace, Iskcon Temple, Tipu Sultan Summer Palace), Afternoon transfer to BANGALORE Airport to board flight to KOCHI. Upon arrival at Kochi, MONDIAL ESCAPES will meet you and you shall be transferred to the Hotel.

Cochin, 'Queen of the Arabian sea' and also one of the gateway to Kerala. The city is built up on a cluster of islands and peninsulas consisting mainland Ernakulam, the islands of Willington, Bolgatty and Gundu in the harbour, Fort Cochin and Mattancherry on the southern peninsula. Cochin is an attractive city with serene backwaters, lagoons with feathery coconut palms. The older parts of Fort Cochin and Mattanchery are an unlikely blend of medieval Portugal. Cochin has also emerged as the commercial and industrial capital of Kerala and is perhaps the second most important city on the west coast of India.

Day 3: Kochi full day

After breakfast visit the Old Kochi town also known as Jewish town. Visit the Synagogue. Walk in the shopping avenues of the town. Close by, visit the Dutch Mattanchery Palace, where you find some nice murals depicting the Hindu mythology of Ramayana and Mahabharata. Visit St. Francis church where once Vasco da Gama was buried but later the coffin was taken to Lisbon.

Afternoon walk alongside the coast of Fort Kochi enjoy the local fish market and see the Chinese fishing nets.

Day 4: Kochi-Munnar (Surface 180 kms / 4 hours)

After breakfast drive to Munnar. Get away from the hustle bustle of the cities, now you are into the deep greens of Kerala. Enroute you find the plantations of coconut, rubber plants, Tapioca, and Paddy fields. Finally you arrive in the Nilgiri Mountains, where you find a sort of prevailing blue mist all the time. You drive through the tea plantations hills. Arrive Munnar;the place is well known for its moderate climate.

Day 5: Munnar Full day

Breakfast at resort.

You have got full day to explore the nature. Walk through the tea plantation. Visit any spice plantation garden, or just admire the beauty of the nature. You are sorrounded by the Nilgiri Mountains cover with the blue mist.

Day 6: Munnar-Periyar (90 kms / 4hrs)

After breakfast drive through the tea plantaion hills and finally you arrive in the spice country. The place known as Thekkady (Kumily) is famous for cardamom and pepper plantation.

Upon arrival check into your hotel.

Periyar is located in the Idukki district of central Kerala. On the cool hills of the Western Ghats the heartland of which luxuriate in matted coffee, tea, pepper and cardamon plantations.

The pride of Kerala and a testimony to nature's splendour and human innovation, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake - an artificial lake. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grassland

Day 7: Periyar (Thekkady)

Early morning you get to see the wildlife of Periyar National Park. Though tiger sightings are very rare but you see other flora & fauna in the park. Take an early morning boatride to admire the beauty of Kerala’s landscape plus you come across several wild animals and birds like wild boars, elephants, deers, bisons, otters, cormorants, painted storks etc. Get back to your hotel. After breakfast visit one of the spice plantations gardens. Afternoon at leisure or you can just stroll in the market place of Kumily.

Day 8: Periyar-Alleppy (Surface / 130 kms / 4 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Alleppy. You leave the Nilgiri Mountains and now you are into the plains of Kerala where earth seems to merge into water and coconut palms swaying on to the lagoons. Quite a different landscape. Kerala is a densely populated state but the whole population seems to be hidden behind the lush green nature. Arrive Alleppy; embark in the Houseboat (Kettuvalam). Lunch on board. After lunch you will be driven through the big and small canals merging into the huge man made lake Vembanad.

The backwaters of Kerala are a series of interconnected waterways, lakes, inlets and riverine estuaries that form an intermeshed network along the coast of Kerala.

The House Boat traditionally known as 'Kettuvallam' is made entirely of natural materials; wood, rattan and bamboo, in harmonious tones of brown and honey. Way back these large roomy canoes, which were once used to transport spices, chilies, coconuts, coir, rice etc; to the big trading vessels waiting at Kochi.

The lighting is solar-powered and the chic spacious bedrooms are elegantly ethnic in design.  The kitchenette is fully equipped and fire hazard proof. The Kettuvallams are motorized with small outboard engines tucked away out back that helps it cover long distances efficiently and quietly. The crew includes two boatmen and a cook

Day 9: Alleppy-Kumarakom (boatride)

Morning breakfast on board. Continue to explore the God’s own country, the area is dotted with several churches and temples. Most of the daily activities of local people can be seen all along the lagoons.

Finallyby 0930 AM disembarkingHouseboat at Kumarakom Jetty and check in to the backwater resort situated on the edge of lake Vembanad.  Enjoy to the fullest of Nature’s beauty in and around Kumarakom.

The enchanting backwater destination of Kumarakom is a small village that is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerela. An unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. This place is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Birds like, Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck, the Siberian stork that can be found here in flocks.

Day 10: Kumarakom-Mararikulam( Surface / 30 minutes / 27 kms)

Early morning if you are interested can go for a small visit to the Bird’s sanctuary or else relax in the hotel.

Late afternoon check out and drive to Mararikulam. This village situated on the Malabar coast has got vast stretch of white sands, very beautiful and serene place to relax and rejuvenate yourself by taking one of the Kerala’s ayurvedic and massage therapies. Relax under the shade of coconut palms.

Day 11: Mararikulam-Kochi Airport(Surface / 45 kms / 1 hr)-Bangalore(flight)

Morning at leisure. Afterbreakfast drive to Kochi airport to board flight to Bangalore.

Farewell dinner in Bangalore (Depend upon onward flight) and transfer to International airport to board onward flight back home.
