Day 2: Delhi
Breakfast at hotel. DELHI the capital of India is one of most spectacular cities of the world. Here history meets modernity. Historically Delhi was founded 7 times at seven different places. Finally the 8th Capital city New Delhi, founded by British remains the modern capital of India.
Start your visit with Old Delhi, founded in 17th century by 5th great Moghul Emperor Shahjahan. Visit the famous Jama Masjid (Friday mosque). Later take a brisk walk in the winding lanes of Old Delhi to get the real taste of India.
Visit the Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, where Mahatama Gandhi was cremated. Nice landscaped gardens, quiet place out of the hustle bustle of the crowded Old Delhi.
After noon visit New Delhi where you drive past through India gate and governmental buildings. Later Qutub Minar, the tallest 12th century minaret situated in the South of Delhi. There are some interesting ruins of mosques and tombs around the Minaret. Before sunset visit a Sikh Temple known a Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. A place where you see the fervor of Sikh community

Day 3: Delhi-Haridwar (Dep: 0645 hrs / Arr: 1136 hrs)
Early morning transfer to the New Delhi Railway station to catch the train to Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar & check-in. Haridwar is one of the holiest pilgrimage places for Hindus also known as the doorsteps to the God. Every 12 years, there is a big congregation of Hindus on the banks of river Ganges. In 2010, on the occasion of the Kumbha Mela (the fair), which lasted almost for 2 month, attracted more than 50 million pilgrims & tourists to take a holy dip in the Ganges.
Afternoon at leisure before sunset attends the beautiful ceremony on the banks of Ganga, near Har-ki-Paudi.
Overnight at Haridwar
Day 4: Haridwar-Rishikesh – Haridwar (Surface / 30 kms / 1 hour)
After breakfast, full day excursion to Rishikesh, a city known for Yoga & Meditation, and came into notice when beatle group visited in late 60’s in one of the Ashrams of Rishikesh.
Visit the suspension cable bridges over the Ganga River, known as Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula. Visit one of the Ashrams where students learn Yoga & and Vedic studies in Sanskrit.
Evening drive back to Haridwar

Day 5: Haridwar-Unchagaon (Surface / 150 kms / 3 hours)
Breakfast at Haridwar.
Check out and Drive to Unchagaon, a small village situated on the banks of River Ganges. Here you will be staying in a colonial structure transformed into a heritage hotel, situated in the middle of the village, the village completely far away from the hustle & bustle of the city. You get the absolut ambience of Rural India. Afternoon indulge into different local activities or simply relax or take a stroll in the green fields around.

Day 6: Unchagaon-Agra (Surface / 315 kms / 6 hours)
After breaksfast drive tA thousand years ago, this was the seat of the Chandela Kings who built 85 temples, of which 22 remain in eloquent testimony to the glory of the reign. The famous Chandela Dynasty Temples built between 950 and 1050 AD immortalized in stone is a wealth of sensuous and erotic sculptures, an exquisite depiction of human life and emotions, equating passion with spiritual union. The sculptures considered most perfect figures achieved in stone, depicts Gods and Goddesses and amorous coupleso Agra. Upon arrival check-into hotel at Agra
Afternoon visit the Red Fort. Again the most important capitals of Mughals. Most of construction is in Red sand stone with a moderate use of Marble. Later visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. One of the most beautiful monuments of India never fails to amaze a first time visitor. As soon as you travesrse the redsandstone entrance, awesomely you see the striking contrast of white marble with green grass and the blue sky in the backdrop of the Taj. The white marble exterior changes colour according to the position of the sun during the day and is matched by the rich interior detail. (Taj mahal closed on Fridays)
Overnight at Agra
Day 7: Agra-Jhansi (Train 0820 hrs / Arr: 1040 hrs)-Orchha / Khajuraho (Surface / 170 kms)
Brreakfast at hotel. Check out and transfer to Agra railway station.
Morning train to Jhansi. Upon arrival assistance and pick up to Orchha to visit Orchha Palace and thereafter Lunch & drive to Khajuraho (4-5 hours drive).
Arrive KHAJURAHO; the rich and powerful Chandela Emperors built the magnificent richly carved temples at Khajuraho, whose dynasty survived for five generations before falling to the onslaught of Islam. . There are around 85 temples and almost all of them date from one century-long burst of creative genius between 950 to 1050 AD. Each temple has a large number of spires in ascending order representing man's aspirations towards goals.

Day 8: Kajuraho-Varanasi (flight)
After breakfast visit the eastern and western group of world famous finely sculpted temples of Khajuraho. Later come back to hotel for early lunch and transfer to khajuraho airport to board flight to Varanasi.
Arrive into Varanasi and straight visit to the Buddhist archaeological site SARNATH.
Tansfer to your hotel and proceed to experience Guided Ganga Ghat Aartis (religious ceremony)
Which takes place every evening after sunset. Possibile option to take pedal rickshaw ride
Overnight at Varanasi
Day 9: Varanasi-Delhi (Flight)
We start very early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise boatride on the Ganges. A spectacular view in the morning where you will see the Hindu pilgrims come on the Ghats to take sacred dip in the holy Ganges. You will see other activities as well during the boatride all along the Ghats.
Finally you get down near the cremation ghat known as Manikarnika Ghat, where in general, you have the occasion to see the Hindu way of cremating dead bodies (N.B. Photography strictly prohibited)
Later, walk through the winding lanes of Varanasi. Also take a panoramic tour to the Banaras Hindu University, one of the ancient universities of India.
Later back to hotel & have breakfast. Check out and Visit any silk weaving centre for which Varanasi is also famous.
Transfer to Varansai airport to board flight to Delhi.
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport transfers to local restaurant for farewell dinner and then transfer to International airport for onward journey.
